North Dakota Memorial Hospital-Women's Post Partum & Recovery Unit

3rd year group project-Spring 2015

The concept for this hospital design is to inspire happiness, health, and healing. The nurturing unit will celebrate the beauty of birth in ways such as infusing nature and local art work into the calming atmosphere. Patients, visitors and staff will have ease finding their way around using the variation in colors, images, and signage throughout the floor to signify zones. Each zone will be designed around a specific flower native to North Dakota to represent the purpose of that area and infuse the culture of the state.
