Evergreen Lane

3rd Year Individual Project-Fall 2015

The Evergreen Lane Adult Day Center is a welcoming environment focused around community and creating a calming space for the adult clients. The space itself was inspired by the landscape and the native evergreen trees of Texas. Through the use of warm neutral colors, plenty of natural light incorporated throughout, and spaces where learning and engaging in the environment are top priority. 

The furniture used will be contemporary and flexible to ensure that the space facilitates learning and growth. Wayfinding and custom signage will be created for easy navigation of the day center and carefully considered for the easy usage of all users. A space is created that is universally designed, sustainable, and collaborative. A space where individuals can engage in community and enjoy each others company.
